Introducing Toledo Bartending School

Toledo Bartending Seminars are part of the highly successful Cleveland Bartending School.Cleveland Bartending School, opened by Founding Director William Cobbin in 1995 to meet the growing demand for skilled practitioners in the area.

Part of the Professional Bartending Schools of America, (PBSA)—the nation’s largest chain of state licensed bartending schools, the Cleveland School of Bartending has trained more than 7,000 people, including the winner of “Cleveland's Best Bartender” title.

We’ve helped our graduates find positions in countless Cleveland area bars and restaurants, including Whiskey Island Marina, Cleveland Clinic’s Table 45, Barley House, the Marriot, Hyatt Regency, Pickwick and Frolic, The Winking Lizard, and many more.

What’s more, Cleveland Bartending School faulty includes four National Instructor of the Year winners, and has twice been named PBSA School of the Year.


Meet the Teacher

William Cobbin is the founding director of the Cleveland Bartending School – and teaches at the Toledo Bartending School. Will loves to shares his 15 years of real world bartending experience and has gotten rave reviews from students for his easy-to-understand, approachable style. Will was a classroom teacher in public school before he began teaching at the Cincinnati School of Bartending and then opened the Cleveland School of Bartending. Will is also a well-known speaker at national bartending conferences – and was named “Director of the Year” by the Professional Bartending School of America for two years in a row.

As a professional mixologist, Will recently placed as third runner up in the Ohio Bartending Championships. He’s been a competition judge and guest bartender at prestigious night clubs and bars, including Hard Rock Café in Los Angeles.

Will knows that customer service separates good bartenders from great ones – so he puts a huge focus on helping his students learn how to treat the customer right. His students learn the art of bartending – and the inside secrets of success in the bar and restaurant industry.
